Common doubts and frequented asked questions about TISAD!

Firstly, we'll answer the most common question:

Q: TISAD!'s layout and design is all pink. Pink! Why pink? It hurts mah eyes!

A: Eh... sarcasm? Pure, funny, delicious sarcasm?

Q: Who created this blog and on what purpose? Don't you have better things to do with your free time?

The idea of creating this blog came up when we realized there wasn't any website to collect quotes from other artists about Tarja and this activity is something we find really interesting, so we wanted a place to "store" all those quotes, making it simple and easy for everybody. That's why we decided to make the website in the form of a blog.

We do have better things to do, everybody in the "staff" of the blog either study or work, or do both at the same time. That's why you don't have an update every day, for example. (we tried, we succeeded for a few weeks, we failed).

Eressa created the blog with her mad designer skills and then recruited Paulo and his incredible head capable of recollecting data and details.

Since July 2010 both founders had to step down due to RL commitments and since then Estrella and Silvia have taken the site in their hands.


Q: Why is the blog called "Tarja is Such a Diva"? Are you with her or against her? Oh gosh, you confuse me!

Well, if you are a reader of the blog you must have realized that we use our twisted sense of humor once in a while, we do like sarcastic stuff, and the name is pure sarcasm (like the pink in the layout). Actually we never understood the diva argument, so we decided to make fun out of it, and it’s simple like that. We are fans of Tarja (so we are with her, aren't we?) and of course it's because of her amazing music and voice first of all. What she does or doesn't in her private life doesn’t matter to us, to be honest.

However just because we are fans of her, it doesn't mean we are against anyone else. 

Q: I met Tarja, she stepped on my foot during her acoustic set! It was awesome! Can I contribute?

Well... LOL, every fan can contribute with what they got. If you met her, took a picture with her and had a brief talk, just send us the picture with your name, where you live and when the picture was made and we will gladly post it. If you want to translate the blog in your language just contact us via e-mail, we usually answer it quickly.

If you also have a quote and it’s not posted in the blog you can also send it to us, with your name and where the quotes comes from and we’ll post it as well. This blog is for everybody interested in those quotes and everybody is welcome. And no, a meeting with this guy does not count. Stop sending those pictures!

Q: I have noticed you use a lot of sarcasm in your posts, why do you do it?

We do? Oh noes!! No, seriously, that's just the kind of humor we have, we can't help it. You know it is so boring to write about Tarja, we have to spice things somehow [/sarcasm] ;)

We never intend to cause harm or mock anyone, at least not for real ;)

Q: Why do translations take so long to get uploaded? Why are you so lazy?

In fact, there are no more translations into different languages, sadly. Some contributors have started their own projects to support Tarja, some others simply have no more time. Sorry about that :-/

Q: Are you against Nightwish and Anette? Why do you hate them? Why do you kill kitties and cook them as cheese burger meat?

No, we aren’t. Actually in a way, we are thankful with them. If there is a wonderful consequence of the split (for us) that is the chance we are having to witness the growth of a new artist. In our opinion it’s a bless to be there since the beginning of Tarja’s solo career, to see her develop her composing skills, daring with her vocal lines, experimenting and bringing new elements to her music.

Nothing in the world can compare to the feeling of always “being there”. We wish Nightwish and Anette all the best. If we wanted to be offensive towards them we would create a hate page about them, and not a fan page about Tarja. We are sorry, but that doesn’t make any sense to us. Oh look, a serious answer! 

Q: Your site is so shiny! Can I haz affiliation?

Oh please do! We are working on our affiliates page, where we will post our banners and the banners of other sites but in the meanwhile, do send us a mail and we'll send you the banner in the size you need. Affiliation lists look prettier with pink on them.

Q: is your blog a place where we can get to know Tarja's real personality, how she really is in real life?

Perhaps this is too much to ask from a simple, even if awesome, awesome blog. What we offer here is nothing more than what other have said about her. You can get your own conclusions from the info we gather here.
