Rhevan: Tarja's influence is always present in our compositions

Rhevan is an independent symphonic/gothic female fronted metal from Brazil (whew, that was a mouthful!) and they are doing fabulous music! Recently, Winter Storm Mexico had the chance to interview them and they told us some things about Tarja, her influence and how mean she is since she makes the beautiful vocalist, Dani Navarro, suffer ;)

---------------------------

WSM: Since this is a Winter Storm Club we are always interested in what the bands and singers we interview think about the following: What is your opinion of Tarja Turunen? We believe we can hear her influence in "Frontline".

Dani: My first opinion of Tarja is that I always suffer to sing her songs (hehehe). Her voice is beautiful, but for me is very difficult to do a cover songs she sings. Well, I think she's a great singer, I use to watch shows before covering her in order to have some ideas of performance on stage, she is an influence to me.

Aldo: I especially admire her very much and I’m a fan. “End Of An Era” is one of the best shows I've seen. She is a great influence for Rhevan.

Gleydson: One of the best singers of the style as she stands as an incredible vocalist and singer, her influence is always present in the compositions because I'm great fan of her work. “Castle Of Glass” was composed in a period soon after the release of “My Winter Storm” that I used to listen every day, so I believe this explains the suspicion of influence.

Thiago: A Goddess!

Dani: We would like to thank the support given by the "Winter Storm Fan Club", we were very pleased with the interview and, more importantly, participate in a forum dedicated to a great influence for us.
